This
poster advertising the 2nd Annual 'British Rock Meeting' Open Air Festival,
in May 1972 which was due to take place in Mannheim, West Germany. But
after protests from the locals, the concert actually took place in nearby
Germersheim as this poster states. This poster was hastily created,
with a red coloured background instead of the original blue (which can
be found on my other Ebay auctions). A few more big names were added
to the final line up, and what an absolutely fantastic line up it was!!!!!!!.......PINK
FLOYD, THE DOORS, THE KINKS, ROD STEWART AND THE FACES, HUMBLE PIE,
FAMILY, RORY GALLAGHER, STATUS QUO, ATOMIC ROOSTER, OSIBISA, THE STRAWBS,
CURVED AIR, NAZARETH, SAVOY BROWN, BRINSLEY SCHWARZ, BUDDY MILES and
to the final line up the organisers added URIAH HEEP, LINDISFARNE and
SPENCER DAVIS.
