A great poster advertising a show from the 'Most Famous Club In Europe', the one and only Bristol Chinese R&B Club, at the Corn Exchange, Corn Street in Bristol in the UK!! This poster advertises up and coming shows in May and June 1965 featuring Them, with Van Morrison, Spencer Davis, The Birds featuring Ron Wood now of the Rolling Stones, John Lee Hooker and The Bo Street Runners.

A fantastic line up of bands, all for the princely sum of 20 pence!!! On the bill on Sunday, 1st November, 1964 were, The Rolling Stones, The Yardbirds, The Pretty Things and The Birds, featuring a young Ron Wood, who of course eventually went on to play guitar with the Stones. The gig was played at the 'Face Club' in Grantham, UK.

Although big name acts occasionally visited clubs and dance halls in Swindon, Trowbridge, Chippenham and Devizes, it was Salisbury that proved the more popular stopping off point for the package tours of the era. On Saturday, July 24th 1965 The City Hall in Salisbury hosted The Birds, featuring future Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, supported by The Troggs, featuring Reg Presley.
